Selection Process For CG POLICE SI NEW RECRUITMENT 2024

The selection for the interview will be based on physical test, written test, document verification and interview. Candidates will be selected for the interview on the basis of their applications.

Selection Process :- The selection process will be as follows :-

(i) Physical Measurement Measurement of the candidate will be tested as per the minimum qualification as specified in clause 2 (v) of the advertisement.

Note – In case of any dispute regarding physical measurement, the decision of the Chief Medical Officer of the district will be final. The documents of the candidates will be checked along with the physical measurement standards.

(2) Preliminary written examination: On being found eligible as per above, the candidate will have to appear in a computerized (OMR based) optional type preliminary written examination which will be of 300 marks and duration will be two hours. This examination will mainly have questions related to general knowledge. On the basis of this preliminary written examination, a merit list will be prepared from which only 20 times the number of candidates of the advertised vacancies will be issued admit cards to appear in the main written examination. The last candidate on whom 20 times the number is completed and such candidates who have obtained more or equal marks than this candidate will be included in the main examination even if the number of candidates exceeds 20 times.

(iii) OMR based optional main written examination (first stage written examination):-

(a) Proficiency in Hindi and English language – This test will be of 200 marks and its duration will be two hours. This test will be compulsory for all candidates. There will be 125 marks for Hindi and 75 marks for English.

(b) General Knowledge and General Studies – This exam will be of 200 marks and its duration will be three hours. This exam will be compulsory for all the candidates.

(c) Aptitude Test This test will be of 200 marks and its duration will be two hours. This test will be compulsory for all the candidates.

(d) Science (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) Exam This exam will be of 200 marks and its duration will be two hours. This exam will be compulsory only for those candidates who have applied for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector (Fingerprint) / (Document in question).

(E) Computer Science Exam This exam will be of 200 marks and its duration will be two hours. This exam will be compulsory only for those candidates who have applied for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector (Computer), Sub Inspector (Cyber ​​Crime).

(iv) Separate Selection Lists – By adding the marks obtained in the first stage written examination, three separate merit lists will be prepared for Subedar, Sub Inspector, Sub Inspector (Special Branch), Platoon Commander, Sub Inspector (Fingerprint) / (Document in question) and Sub Inspector (Computer), Sub Inspector (Cyber ​​Crime), out of which five times the number of advertised vacancies will be called for the second stage examination. If any question arises in this matter, the decision of the District Medical Board will be final.

Physical efficiency test is compulsory for all candidates. This test will be of total 300 marks and will include the following competitions:-

The above competitions for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Computer), Sub-Inspector (Cyber ​​Crime) will be of qualifying nature only and no marks will be awarded for these.

Only those candidates will be interviewed who have secured at least 30% marks in the physical efficiency test, i.e. candidates securing less than 30% marks in the physical efficiency test will be declared failed at this stage and will not be interviewed.

(vi) Interview (second stage) – The interview will be of 100 marks. Before the interview, all such candidates who have applied for more than one post will have to register their preference for the applied posts online.
